Who We Are

Mahala Love is an international project for the advancement of health, food, and empowerment of everyday people.

We identify, train, and support leaders to uplift their communities. Our focus is to encourage healthy self-sufficiency in water, food, and shelter through education and project advancement for communities in need.

Our Vision

Our vision is to train 1000 leaders who will, in turn, train 1000 leaders to work in their local communities to raise the standard of living.

What Are We Doing?

2026 is going to be the BIGGEST and best year ever to be involved with Mahala Love. We will break ground on our largest initiative yet. After 4 solid months of planning (which comes from 10 years of work and experiences on the ground in South Africa), we will soon begin fundraising for IKHAYA SANCTUARY. Stay tuned in for more as we unveil this fantastic and inspired project. We are truly awed at what God has shown us.

Another wonderful trip in December 2025, where Mahala Love began work on a new site for Joyous House of Safety orphanage. We planted a small fruit orchard with around 20 fruit trees and built three raised beds. A grape arbor was installed, with benches to come in the near future, providing shade and a place to read and play while enjoying healthy snacks picked right in the yard. This new site will open with approximately 15 children, but is set to expand to more than 5 times that amount in the near future. We love our little friends at Joyous House!

Mahala Love welcomed our partners, Royal Diamond Academy in Mandela, Mpumalanga (Jan 2025) Royal Diamond students are caring for chickens provided by Mahala Love. We love chickens and we love our neighbors at Royal Diamond.
